Attempt at Gloves...

Last night I decided to knit something other than a scarf.  I really haven't done many other projects than scarves, so I tried a glove.

Here's how the first attempt ended.

Not great...it was about two inches too wide, so I didn't finish it.  But the second try got closer...

Overall, not bad!  I still haven't made a left glove to match it, probably will do that tonight.

I'm working on another scarf project, I'll probably finish and post it tomorrow.

God Bless!

Row Scarves

These are two simple scarves, there's not much fancy in the design, but they're great value for the price, $10 each!  They are both about 70 inches long, 100% acrylic, soft and warm, good for a winter utility scarf (getting the mail, walking the dog, etc.).

Ribs and Bars Scarf

This scarf is 100% acrylic, so it's washable, yet extremely soft!  it is 75 inches long, so it is a longer scarf, great for cold, snowy days up north.  This scarf is also a bargain, priced at $15.  Great scarf, great price, what more could you ask for?

Gray Zig-Zag Scarf

This scarf is made out of the same 75/25 acrylic/wool blend as the diamond scarf.  It is 66 inches long, soft, washable and warm...pretty much everything you need from a scarf.  I'm selling it for $20, feel free to comment!

Popcorn Scarf

This is a fairly simple scarf, all you do is knit one, purl one, knit one, purl one, etc.  While being simple, it is a very nice scarf.  I believe that this one is 75/25 acrylic/wool.  It is not overly soft, but is comfortable.  It is fifty-seven and a half inches long, and is selling for $20 (USD).

Gray Cable Scarf

This is another cable scarf, 100% acrylic, soft.  It is 65 inches long, and will be very warm this winter!  I'm selling this one for $20, which is reasonable for a cable-knit scarf.

Please, any feedback would be great, and if anyone is interested in purchasing this or any other scarf on my site, email me at-samsellsscarves@gmail.com

Green Zig-Zag Scarves

This scarf is 75% acrylic-25% wool, thus both soft and washable.   It is seventy-one and a half inches long, and priced at twenty dollars.

And here is another similar scarf.

This one is made of the same materials as the last one (75/25 acrylic-wool), washable, and very soft.  This one is shorter at 65 inches, but still a reasonable length.  The price is $20.

Again, all of my scarves are unique, I don't follow a pattern, I don't copy anyone.  What you would be buying is one of a kind.

Orange Cable Scarf

Here is a scarf that I made in about one day.

It's what I call a rope scarf.  It rolls up on itself, giving it the appearance of a 'rope' (I'm very creative with the names).

Cabling, for any who don't know, is not easy.  I made this in less than 12 hours because I was going to craft sale that afternoon.

The scarf is 100% acrylic, so it is machine washable.  It is 58 inches in length, so it's a shorter scarf.  Reasonably priced at $20.

SOLD--Even though this scarf has sold, I can still make one to order in any color!

God Bless!

Here they are!

Here's one scarf!

This Scarf is 75% acrylic-25% wool, and 63 inches long.  It is very soft, yet still machine washable.  The price is $20.

It should be noted that I don't actually follow a pattern when knitting.  All of the 'patterns' are in my head, I make them up.  So every one of the scarves on here are completely original and unique.  I'm not trying to make money off of someone else's work.

Anyways, if you have any questions about the scarf, feel free to post a comment.

Pictures

The pictures have been taken!  Alleluia!  I'm so tired, I'm not posting them right now, but I will in the morning.

A little description of the biz...

Hi, my name is Sam, and this will be the blog on which (as the name indicates) I will attempt to sell hand-knit scarves that I made.

A little info first.

The environment in which the scarves were made is totally allergen free.  There is no smoke, no pets, the house is clean, and all of the scarves are clean, never used; so there aren't any problems in that regard.

The scarves are usually made within a week's time, though I can make one in a day if there is great need.  I have several already made, and relatively soon I will be posting pictures, descriptions, and purchasing information for about 11-12 different scarves.  IF I sell any scarves, I'll leave the post up that contains it, but I'll edit it to say that it has sold, and that you can have it made to order if you like.

That's the other thing, if you have a specific idea or pattern in mind for a scarf, and it's not up here, contact me, and I could try to make it.  Pick out the color or pattern you want, and we'll try to make it work.

I'm excited to open my own web-based business, tell me what you think!

God Bless!
